This may seem silly but many of my friends asked so i'm writing this.
How to find the bandwidth usage of bsnl broadband
First what you need is a software which is available in the following link
click here for software!!!
The software name will be BSNL Broadband Usage 2.3.zip. download this software extract the Zip file to your local machine.
Then open the application it should appear like this

then enter your portal ID which will be provided by the BSNL service provider if you dont have you can call up the customer care for assitance on portal ID and password after you login the process ll go on and its done you ll get your bandwidth details it will appear somethin lik this
it ll be the detailed report of your usage.
**dont forget to mention the type of plan your using

Microsoft plans for Windows 8 in 2012

If you're just getting used to Windows 7, then it may be time to pull out the diary and pencil in a date in 2012 for the upgrade to its successor, unsurprisingly codenamed Windows 8.

The news that the next version of Microsoft's flagship operating system will arrive in 2012 comes from the Microsoft Kitchen fansite, which has obtained a roadmap showing the Redmond giant's plans.

Windows Server?
Apparently, Windows 8 will fit with Microsoft's plans to keep significant OS releases four years apart. The previous major release seems to be not Windows 7, but Windows Server 2008, we're supposed to believe.

While the roadmap is almost certainly the genuine article, the fact that Windows Vista doesn't even appear on the diagram suggests it's aimed at the enterprise IT buyers and has a point to make in making Microsoft look reliable and punctual with its OS releases.

Hitman 5 set for 2010 release

This be the late news but people who are still not aware of the new Hitman game, which is currently unnamed and known only as Hitman 5, will be out next year and could arrive alongside a new Hitman film too.
Refuting some rumours however, IO Interactive has promised that the movie and the film will not overlap at all and that gamers can look forward to playing with Agent 47 as they've always known him, not as he was reimagined for Hollywood.
Story line
According to Variety, which claims that the fifth Hitman game will have deadly baldy Agent 47 "at a low point" and he must build himself back up psychologically and physically to reclaim his mantle as the world's most feared assassin.
So all Hitman loving groups there is a feast next year on its way

How To Make An “EXE” Installation File

Have you ever wondered how those EXE files are created ?

Well there are many software's you can use to make an EXE file but we shall use one which is present always in your windows XP. The name of this utility is iExpress one of the easiest application to make a EXE file.
Windows does not provide us with the icon of iExpress we may have to launch it using run command (windows key+R) in this start typing iexpress.exe then a window will pop-up as shown below

iExpress runs as a simple wizard and will ask you a couple of questions and based on your choices will generate the installer for you. The first question that you have to answer is if you want to create a new Installer or open an existing one. Since, this is (presumably) your first time using iexpress, we’ll select the first option and click Next.

The next screen will ask you the type of package you want it to create.

iExpress can create a package that runs a command after it unpacks all files to a temporary location, or only extract the files to a location that the user specifies. The first option is useful if you want to, for example, run a script to make changes to the registry before the user runs your program for the first time.There is a third option to create compressed files only but that is only applicable if you’re distributing Active-X controls. iExpress displays a handy description below each option so you can read that if you’re still not sure which about which option to select.

The next step is to give a name to the package that you’ll create. Enter the name in the text box and move to the next screen.

This step will let you display a confirmation message to the user installing the application. If you want to display a message to your user asking for confirmation if he/she wants to go ahead with the installation, then type in a message in the text box provided and when you’re done click Next.

Now, you will be able to select a license agreement which the installer will ask the user to adhere to. If you have a license agreement for your application, then type it in a text file and provide that here or else select the “Do not display a license” option and move on.

This is where you actually select the files that will be installed by the installer that you’re creating. You can select as many files as you want here. Add files to the list by clicking on the Add button.

Now, you can safely move forward a few steps and keep clicking on the next button till you come across the Package name and options screen. This is where you select a name for the actual EXE file that gets generated and decide whether you want to hide the extraction process from your users or let them see all the gory details. You can also generate a log files for the installation process.

In the next step you can choose to create what iExpress calls a Self Extraction Directive file. This is needed if you want to later change some of the options that you chose and create another modified installer. Since, we don’t want that right now, we’ll choose not to create an SED file.

That’s it. iExpress will now go ahead and create an EXE file for you. Wasn’t that easy?

Snow Leopard bug deletes all user data

Snow leopard a new version of Mac OS X 10.6 has a bug which deletes all user data when they've logged into a "Guest" account after upgrading from Leopard.The bug, users said on Apple's support forum, resets all settings on the Mac, resets all applications' settings and erases the contents of critical folders containing documents, photos and music.

Users claimed that they lost data when they'd logged into their Macs using a "Guest" account, either purposefully or by accident. Reports of the bug go back to Sept. 3, just six days after Apple launched Snow Leopard, or Mac OS X 10.6. Users who said they'd encountered the bug said that they had upgraded their systems from Mac OS X 10.5, known as Leopard.

Specifically, Snow Leopard's home directory -- the one sporting the name of the Mac's primary user -- is replaced with a new, empty copy after users log-in to a Guest account, log out, then log-in to their standard account. All the standard folders -- Documents, Downloads, Music, Picture and others -- are empty, while the Desktop and Dock have reverted to an "out-of-box" condition.

E-mail alerts on mobile

Worried that u cant read your mails when your away from your systems here is an efficient solution for that problem.I use this alert and i find it very helpful as we cannot be in front of the system checking mails hence a alert to our mobile will get us close to our mails,this alert is provided by WWW.way2sms.com where if you register with your mail ID for alerts they will be texting alert messages to your mobile
you just need to ve an account in way2sms which is easy to create one and then login to your account
after you log-in on left corner you will find a tab Mail Alerts just follow the procedure

*Click on the "mail alerts" tab(marked) in the fig above
*In settings (shown in the fig below)

* choose your mobile number and then activate the alert option.
Above process is similar to any e-mail ID...you can use a single number for different mail alerts like g-mail,yahoo etc

Given below are the settings in your mail account

For G-mail users
*Then log-in to your gmail then follow the process as given below
*Log on to gmail
*Click on settings
*Click on "FORWARDING/POP/IMAP"
*Select "forward a copy of incoming mail to" and paste your way2sms ID in the tab provided.

That's it you will start receiving e-mails alerts on your mobile.Easy and efficient way to stay up with your e-mail's

For Yahoo users

*Click on mail settings
*click on POP and forwarding option
*In the tab "Forward the incoming yahoo mail" paste your way2sms ID.

same process for all the account holders in msn,hot mail etc.........
I searched for many sites for this facility and finally found this and wanted to share with u people.But the disadvantage is that you need to reactivate this feature in wat2sms every 7days i found no problem with it cos of its other advantages which allows me to stay connected with our mails.

First match in the icc trophy for india the big one against pakistan both facing each other after a long time of 14months a disappointment for indian fans that they lost it very badly.Again our bangalore player rahul "the wall" dravid played a very cultured innings till the very end when he was run out for a well made 76 of 103 balls with 4 boundaries.Once again the experience showed how to deal with odi's the wall stood tall and should mention a little blasting innings from suresh raina 46 of 41 balls with 5 boundries and 2 awesome sixes.
Now lets see in the next match against australia on 28th nov.
australia's 1st match in this series they won it against west indies and australia is in great form with there 6-0 win against england.
